Mission Statement

Women in Network
is dedicated to helping mothers with legal troubles that stem from their struggle with substance abuse problems. WIN works to help these women regain their dignity, stabilize their lives, reconnect constructively with the community, and, most importantly, become successful mothers to their children.

Basic Goals: The WIN program ...

  1. helps mothers stabilize their lives by accessing help in areas such as food, clothing, job training, employment, education and child care,
  2. helps mothers take responsibility for their choices and learn to make life enhancing choices,
  3. helps mothers learn how to support each other emotionally and practically, drawing on the strengths of the members of the group and the synergy of the group itself,
  4. garners and nurtures family and community support for the mothers to help them stay clean and be there for their children.
